FLD book series
The potential natural vegetation map of eastern Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia) is accompanied by a 11 volume series that documents the floristic, physiognomic and other characteristics of the different vegetation types, lists the woody species occurring in each vegetation type, and documents the making of the map.
Volume 1 - Introduction
Volume 1 is an atlas with the potential natural vegetation map of eastern Africa at a scale of 1:1 million. The volume furthermore introduces the concept of potential natural vegetation and presents an overview of different application domains of the Vegetationmap4africa map.
